This book is full of explanations of human behavior and how one person can affect how another person behaves. I would recommend this to any person wanting to change the people and environment around him or her. This lady is smart and honest and writes with humor. I loved every page!

This is a new way for a phychologist to help readers – advocating changing the way we choose to relate to people in our lives, rather than spend endless hours talking about our childhood and the past.

this is a great book.

I read it with passion because I needed some help. I do believe with advice given but it is a bit too broad to apply to specific problems.

should be read twice and then kept around for reference. We all can learn to any a situation better. Even if it’s one little thing bothering you in your life, read this, and you will find a better way to deal with it.

Worth re-reading!

This book is several years old, but was as interesting, practical and helpful as the first time that I read it years ago. The book is good for anyone who wants to make changes in their life, as well as for thought-provoking for therapists. It is full of interesting and fun stories, ones that make you smile. Weiner Davis encourages people to believe in themselves, do more of what works and less of what doesn’t, and to quit analyzing problems to death.
