I bought it used, and assumed the worst (markings, tears, highlighting, etc.) and I was pleasantly surprised. The book is just how it was described online (like new condition). And the price was a steal!

A great start

I’ve used this book for several years now in French conversation classes. Students love to learn more about French culture, language, history, and priorities through the medium of film — they already see a lot of films and discuss them with their friends, so they feel comfortable joining this kind of discussion and are ready to learn this way. It’s a springboard for all kinds of conversation, from debate to role-play to group work to discussion of social issues.

I’d like to see a table of contents for all textbooks so that I can compare one edition with another.
