I never thought there was such a thing as Environmental Ethics until I took my college course. Understand this, you may need a dictionary handy, or have Google linked on your computer for many BIG words. This book is deep into philosophy, but environmentally speaking. I learned quite a bit from this book, and also completed many writings of my own. There are many different contributers in this book; historically and modern day. It will get you deep into your moral and ethical side. Yes, I laughed too when I started the term, but ended with an open mind.

This book is a must. It does a great job of informing you about both side of environmental issues. The language is a bit difficult but well worth it.

It arrived a few days after I had hoped it would, but still in time. It’s a fabulous book, combining esoteric philosophical underpinnings of ethics with justifications for and arguments against direct action, and addressing pragmatic consequences of ethical positions.
