Aaron Marcus did a great job with this book. It is well written, has facts about the industry, shows you a step by step guide to entering the commercial modeling field in depth and have several references to contact to begin your journey. Images are included as well and this helps with a visual understanding about what is expected of models. His Style is very clear and straight to the point just how I like it, no sugar coating.

I had no idea how to go about getting into the modeling business, I purchased this book and read it cover to cover the first day. It covered every question I could think of and then some, definatly will pay for itself! I have since signed on with a modeling agency and booked a few jobs on my own as well as developing my portfolio with quality photos without paying a dime.

Aaron Marcus is a talented writer, and his passion for the subject of commercial modeling is evident in this book, which I’m happy to say has achieved much deserved classic status in the world of ‘How to’ books for models. A long time commercial model and actor himself, he has appeared in hundreds of televisions commercials, numerous television series episodes, and in countless print advertising campaigns. He is exactly the kind of experienced guide to the nuts and bolts of this business that anyone wanting to break into commercial modeling would want to have to show them the way. He definitely walks the talk and readers can be assured that the advice they will find in this book is the real deal and worth their time to discover.
A great guide that helps to demystify the Commercial Modeling!

I read this book hoping that it would give me some insight into the field that I was embarking on. I found the book to be an easy reader. I read it in 2 days because I am just getting my modeling career started. The book gives practical and realistic advice. Because the book was written by a model, the information to me seemed very relevant. The book is written as if Aaron is actually talking with you face to face. He is very real, direct, and straight to the point with his tactics to help you get started in the modeling industry. I knew I liked the author immediately when I saw how he used “thinking outside the box” tactics to get work.
