This book is perfect for the seeker, or to brush up on Paganism to have a discussion with non-pagans or new pagans. Really like the excercises after each chapter, challenges you to reach, seek, and learn about yourself. I have the book in my library, and have bought it for my sister in law, and a friend – both seekers on the spiritual path.

As someone who is exploring new spiritual paths, I found this book to the honest, insightful and thought-provoking. This book contains all of the basics I needed to know and understand about paganism, including all of the social implications of making such a conversion. I appreciated some of the exercises they suggested, such as making a belief braid to symbolically weave one’s belief systems into something that works for you. They also address the issue of people thinking that paganism is equivalent to satan worship (it is not) and how pagans ever wound up with such a label. Great book.

Since buying this book, I’ve managed to share it with my whole family. They understand Pagans better and I have a fun book to read. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in becoming Pagan as well as any open minded individuals from other religions. I can safely say that this book is one of my favorites of all time and I’ll be sharing it with my kids. 🙂

Pretty good for the beginning pagan. It is set up much like a Christian bible study type book, so I guess that’s good for some people. While it touches on several different pagan faiths, I found it to be worded most like a Wiccan book.. but that’s the case for most pagan books. Easy read, interesting enough.
