Obviously there are four volumes in this series though I have been unsuccessful in finding Volume 1 on either Amazon, Ebay or elsewhere. I have Volumes 2-4. (Update: In a new search I have found listings on Ebay of the initial volume and am currently evaluating prices.) (Further update: I have purchased on Ebay and now received Vol. 1, available only in PAL and containing just eight segments, six of which are repeated on Vols. 2-4.) Opus Arte is a respected producer of classical music, opera and ballet videos and the vast variety of these brief edited clips of twenty-one such performances on this DVD will not disappoint the viewer/listener. The segments are relatively short, four to six minutes or so with a total playing time of approximately 97 minutes. From Rameau to Davis with Verdi, Wagner, Chopin, Rachmaninov, and Britten included this DVD will appeal to the educated classics fan or to the novice who may be approaching the classics for the first time.
