In this long-awaited sequel to the international bestseller The Artist's Way, Julia Cameron presents the next step in her course of discovering and recovering the creative self. Walking In This World picks up where The Artist's Way left off to present readers with a second course–Part Two in an amazing journey toward discovering our human potential. Cameron shows readers how to inhabit this world with a sense of wonder, a childlike inquisitiveness that each of us was born with. Full of valuable new strategies and techniques for breaking difficult creative ground, this is the "intermediate level" of the Artist's Way program.

I have every one of Julia Camerons books. I am well pleased with her message and her mission to steer creatives in the right direction. Very well written and encouraging. A must for every creative – be it a writer, artist, photographer… whatever your avenue or direction.

This is the must-have, must-use follow up book to Artist Way, that adds in all the practical tools of the trade in addition to Cameron’s earlier more abstract elements — to say nothing of Julia’s casual, incisive, empathic manner – that made her such a universally beloved and effective teacher in the first place.

Another great contribution to her canon of inspiring works..

Julia’s book “The Artist’s Way” was the first transformational book I read many years ago. It opened up the possibility of following my dreams and engaging in not only acting professionally, but in living a creative lifestyle. This book furthers the journey. I am enjoying reading and engaging in the explorations and practices with my fiancĂ©e. I highly recommend reading and sharing your journey in a group and/or with a loved one!

Morning Pages…

are now my habit. I can write down all the crazy things that are swirling around in my head and just put them aside. I started writing morning pages when I read “The Artists Way” many, many years ago. I need this book as I write morning pages, go on artists dates and walk. Cameron nudges me to be more creative and I need that nudge. And I am not afraid to copy a good idea no matter where I see it. Thank you, Julia.

Thank you Julia, for years of encouragement.

I treasure each of Julia’s books in the Artist’s Way trilogy. Each of my books is filled with my notes that were inspired by what she wrote. Each book builds and expands on the previous book. Of course, she had to mention morning pages, and artist dates in each volume for readers who may jump into the series from the middle.
